FIELD: contact systems of electrified railways and urban transport. SUBSTANCE: clamp has metal body with jaws to be inserted in contact wire slots. When not yet installed, jaws are spaced apart at distance smaller than width of contact wire head for clamp mounting on the latter in inclined position until it is fully secured by compressing jaws with force applied towards tops of corners in contact wire slots to cause plastic deformation of jaws; clamp is provided with top head used both for coupling with string thimble and for applying vertical pressure to it when removing the clamp for their plastic deformation and bringing them apart through distance not shorter than initial spacing; in its bottom part, this head has cross slot deep down to clamp head bottom for receiving bottom thimble of contact hanger string. Each jaw has additional bottom slit to reduce compressive force, if necessary. EFFECT: simplified design and improved reliability. 4 cl, 5 dwg
