FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: two or more links of catenary suspension system dropper are made of wire. Rings (loops) on ends of each link are made by winding ends of wire onto main section of link. Clearances are left between coils and section and between adjacent coils whose sizes are equal to or greater than diameter of wire. At least one link of dropper can be made with C-shaped, U-shaped or S-shaped section. Mechanical strength of wire used for manufacture of links is chosen to prevent deformation of section when dropper is exposed to service loads. EFFECT: simplified manufacture of dropper, mounting and adjusting of catenary suspension system. 2 cl, 2 dwg
