FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises neutralizing nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid solution with sodium hydroxide to adjust pH to 2.5-3.4. Concentration of nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid in reaction compound is 30-50 wt %. Method makes it possible to prepare nitrilomethylphosphonic acid disodium salt in crystalline form.
