FIELD: structures of sewerage systems; applicable in balancing of flow rates of household and industrial sewage waters. SUBSTANCE: regulating tank has separated into parts vessel with supplying pipeline, emptying pipeline, ventilation system and discharge trays. each section of vessel has settling chamber for trapping insoluble impurities and provided with pipelines for periodical roiling and removal of sediments to tank of pumping plant. It is separated in length by partition with opening into two compartments. The first compartment of small size with length equalling 0.2-0.3 of total length of tank provides for formation of main amount of sediments. It has devices ensuring flushing and removal of sediments when emptying of tank. The second compartment being the main accumulator of water occupies the main space of section and its length equals 0.7-0.8 of total length of the whole tank. Sections are separated from one another by thresholds whose height between the adjacent first compartments equals 0.1-0.3 m, and between the adjacent second compartments, it is higher than that between the first compartments by 0.1-0.3 m. Tank bottom plate is made in the form of trapezoidal trays with width over bottom plate of 0.5-1.5 m and inclination 0.2-0.3 of side walls to tray of tank and having inclination 0.005-0.1 to discharge tray. Specific load exerted on chambers of catching of main mass of insoluble impurities is taken equal to 20-25 cu. m/m. h. EFFECT: higher efficiency of system of settled sediments removal from regulating tank and excluding even periodic silting of structure. 5 cl, 6 dwg
