FIELD: wastewater purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for purification of wastewater from suspended particles and dehydration of resulting sludge and is intended primarily for purification of contaminated water containing scale. The primary clarifier contains a cylindrical body, the inner surface of which in the lower section is made inclined to the center of the body, which is made with a central shaft made in the form of a hollow cylinder expanding downwards to form a cross-section in the lower section in the form of a trapezoid expanding downwards. The lower inclined section of the central shaft is made resting on the inner inclined surface of the lower section of the body. The central shaft and the body have a common axis of symmetry. The central shaft is located inside the housing at a distance from its side surface to form an annular concentric cavity, which is divided into sections by means of radially located vertical partitions with holes, while two settling sections, a distribution section and a pumping section are formed in the annular cavity. Each partition is connected on one side to the outer vertical surface of the central shaft, and on the other side is connected to the inner surface of the housing. Vertical radial baffles are made with through holes spaced evenly over the entire area of the baffle. The sump is equipped with an inlet section with a tray designed to supply dirty water to the sump and located opposite the distribution section with the location of the bottom of the tray not lower than the water level in the central shaft. Settling sections are placed between distribution and pumping sections. The cylindrical surface of the central shaft along the distribution section is made with a cutout closed with a waste-retaining grate. On the opposite side of the distribution section, between the settling sections, there is a pumping section, which houses pumps designed to pump water to the next stage of treatment. The bottom of the distribution section, settling and pumping sections are made in the form of bunkers, with each bottom of the bins formed on one side by the inner inclined surface of the lower section of the housing, and on the other side by the inner inclined surface of the lower section of the central shaft resting on the inclined surface of the lower section of the housing. On the lower inclined section of the central shaft, which forms the bottom of the sections, through holes are made to ensure gravity removal into the central mine of mud sediment.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the proposed sump, simplifying the design and reducing the size, improving the reliability of the sump in operation, improving the quality of water purification.
