FIELD: automatic detection of leaks of gas fed from gas supply source to pipeline system. SUBSTANCE: pipeline leak detector incorporates source of high-pressure gas, gas device connected to it through pipeline and switch gear mounted on pipeline to open and shut pipeline at operator's option. Pressure detector to detect gas pressure in pipeline is installed between gas device and switch gear. There is also aid evaluating leak of gas when it is not used and when drop of pressure is detected on basis of output signal of pressure detector while pipeline is open or shut by switch gear. EFFECT: possibility of inspection of gas leak in the course of short time interval in absence of inspector. 9 cl, 9 dwg
