FIELD: recovery of liquid radioactive wastes in decontaminating processes. SUBSTANCE: prior to mixing alkali wastes containing alkali metal permanganates and acid wastes containing complexing organic substances they are additionally doped with surface-active materials in the amount of 0.1- 10 g per 1 g of manganese in waste mixture, and held for 0.25-72 h at 10-40 C; alkali and acid wastes are mixed up in proportion required to obtain mixture pH between 6 and 9.
