FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, current sources with two electrolytes. SUBSTANCE: device is designed as two electrodes each of which is immersed in its electrolyte (alkali and acid). Electrolytes are separated by ion-exchange membrane. Electrodes are separated from membrane by porous separator, which prevents direct contact of active body with membrane. System is mounted in same housing. EFFECT: increased specific electric characteristics.
