FIELD: transport engineering; bicycles. SUBSTANCE: scooter has front fork with handlebar and rear fork with saddle, main pedal drive with driving and driven sprockets, overrunning clutch and energy accumulator coupled through additional drive with scooter driving wheel. Energy accumulator is made in form of drum with diameter exceeding that of any gear wheel and is provided with winding spring in form of Archimedean spiral installed on axle of energy accumulator drum. Scooter has identical energy accumulator winding mechanism and wound-up spring locking mechanism, each furnished with spring-loaded pawls engaging with ratchet wheel rigidly coupled with axle of energy accumulator drum. One of ends of energy accumulator winding mechanism extends beyond limits of energy accumulator drum periphery and is hinge-connected with saddle, and one of ends of wound-up spring locking mechanism is rigidly coupled with reduction gear housing. Main pedal drive has additional chain and additional driven sprocket installed on housing of main pedal drive for free rotation in one direction and for limited rotation in other direction owing to use of pawl thrusting against ratchet surface of hub bead.
