FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; bubbling-type air cleaners for cleaning of dust-laden air from heterogeneous suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed air cleaner uses for its operation the principle of forcing air to be cleaned through layer of water used as filter. Air cleaner is provided with interlock: engine cannot be started without filtering member, water in particular case. EFFECT: no necessity of periodical disassembling and cleaning of filtering elements, except for replacement of contaminated water. 5 dwg
