FIELD: automatic firearms. SUBSTANCE: firing mechanism has trigger, spring-loaded rotary sear and limiter of number of shots including rotary lever with stepping rotary gear, stopping member and shifter. Stepping gear is fabricated in the form of spring-loaded toothed sector with spring-loaded catch. Stopping member is manufactured in the form of tooth put on sear. Toothed sector is fitted with two protrusions, one contacting shifter, the other - tooth of sear. Catch is placed on protrusion of rotary lever and is provided with protrusion contacting trigger. Rotary level is U-shaped in section. Springs of toothed sector and catch are installed between walls of U-shaped profile. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced labor input and enhanced operational reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
