FIELD: automatic firearm, in particular, firing mechanisms providing for conduct of single, automatic fire and automatic fire with a restriction of the number of shots.
SUBSTANCE: the firing mechanism has a trigger, spring-loaded sear with a tooth, toothed quadrant with symmetrically located teeth installed for rotation, and a rotating lever. The rotating lever is provided with an additional arm that has a tooth engageable with the teeth of the toothed quadrant, and a longitudinal groove, in which the toothed quadrant is installed for an additional reciprocating motion, the toothed quadrant is spring-loaded relative to the rotating lever.
EFFECT: simplified construction of the mechanism and enhanced stability of operation.
