MILKING UNIT WITH CALF NURSER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, mechanized animal farming. SUBSTANCE: milking unit has vacuumizer, milk bucket, teat cups and calf nurser. Calf nurser has hose pump, turn counter, feed container, calf nursing device connected with vacuumizer via hose. Milking unit is further provided with equipment washing device with sprayers and washing funnel for washing calf nursing device. During cow milking, colostrum is discharged into milk bucket and delivered from it by dosing pump into feed container. Calf consumes feed by means of nursing device. Upon completion of cow milking and calf feeding with colostrum, milking unit is washed by equipment washing device. Combined calf nursing device and milking unit provides consumption of colostrum under conditions simulating natural conditions for sucking colostrum from cow udder. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved calf feeding conditions. 4 cl, 8 dwg
