FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording changes in cardiac murmur intensity in murmur epicenter on the background of intravenous injection of 0.3% hydrogen peroxide solution at a rate of 6.0-8.0 ml/min, total dose being of 2-3 ml per 1 kg of patient body weight. Murmur intensity drop being observed to be 25% or higher when compared to the initial level in 5 min after starting injecting the preparation, murmur arising in right cardiac chambers is to be diagnosed. The mentioned change in murmur intensity drop being absent, murmur arising in left cardiac chambers is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in differentiating murmurs originating in right or left cardiac chambers.
