METHOD OF COLOR PAVING BLOCK MAKING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: initially the first composition is prepared by mixing cement, plasticizing addition and pigment by additional grinding in the presence of milling bodies for 5-25 min. Obtained activated dry mixture is stirred with quartz sand and water, poured in the form at 1/5-1/3 of its height, subjected for vibration-thickening and kept up to seizing onset. Then the second composition is prepared by mixing cement, plasticizing addition, quartz sand, mineral addition, large fractionated filling agent and water in concrete mixer. Obtained homogenized mixture is poured on surface of the early applied concrete mixture up to the required article height. Ratio of cement and quartz sand in the first composition is from 1:1.5 to 1:2.5 and in the second composition - from 1:2.5 to 1:3.5, respectively. Invention can be used in production of paving block for making planes, sidewalks, landing fields element of public transport.
