FIELD: methods of cooling pneumatic structures. SUBSTANCE: for cooling the cavities of multi-layer pneumatic structure, air compressed in compressor is cooled and is divided into two parts: one part is expanded in external turbo-expander and is fed to extreme sections and to internal interlayer volumes of walls; other part of air is cooled in second heat exchanger, after which it is expanded in internal turbo-expander and is directed to central sections and then to extreme sections; then second part is mixed with first part and is returned to compressor. Prior to compression, air may be dehumidified and cleaned. Ratio of parts of flows fed to external and internal turbo-expanders may range from 2.00 to 2.4 and pressure of air after external and internal turbo-expanders may range from 70 to 101 kPa and from 101.15 to 112 kPa, respectively. Walls of structure are made in form of six, four and "n" layers of soft envelopes secured on multi-tier framework pneumatic connected with compressor; each tier consists of set of arches and bond beams; outer envelopes are connected by means of strainers on the outside of each tier of pneumatic framework; center and inner envelopes covering each tier of pneumatic framework form inter-layer volumes pneumatically connected with each other and with air duct made as framework which is used for connection of external turbo-expander with ejectors.
