FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for monitoring technetium level in process solutions in radiochemical production and also in other areas where technetium compounds are used. In the method, technetium is oxidized to 7-valent state with electrically regenerated permanganate ion and 7-valent technetium is coulometrically titrated with electrically regenerated ferrous iron. The two procedures are carried out in electrolyte solution containing 9-11 M sulfuric acid, 1 M phosphoric acid, 0.1 M bivalent manganese, and 0.05 M ferric iron. Equivalency point is determined by amperometric technics with two indicator electrodes. EFFECT: increased selectivity and accuracy. 2 cl, 1 dwg
