FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: substance of the invention consists in coulometric titration of a sample by electrogenerated iodine formed of 0.1 M potassium iodide solution in a hydrogen chloride buffer solution (pH=1.2) on a platinum electrode at constant current intensity 5 mA. The content of ascorbic acid is calculated from the pre-set relation. An end-point titre is fixed by biamperometric method.
EFFECT: ensured expressivity, simple running of experiment, assay sensitivity and accuracy.
