FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting and can be used for investment casting. In order to obtain a mixture for ceramic rods, electrocorundum of the specified fractional composition, an additive for reducing the sintering temperature in the form of an anatase modification of titanium dioxide and a sintering additive in the form of an aluminium powder are mixed. Resulting mixture was charged into the converter together with the grinding media and was stirred at a temperature of about 110–130 °C for at least 1.5–5 hours. Plasticizer based on paraffin with polyethylene and stirred at temperature of 110–130 °C for at least 1.5–5 hours. Resultant ceramic mixture was poured into a pan and cooled under normal conditions at temperature of 23–25 °C until complete solidification. Ingredients are taken in the following ratio (wt. %): electrocorundum by fractional composition: 50–90 mcm (30–38), 40–80 mcm (21–29), 10–50 mcm (15.5–19.5), 5–20 mcm (10.5–18.5), 1–10 mcm (0.3–5); anatase modification of titanium dioxide (0.3–5); aluminium powder (1–9); paraffin with polyethylene over 100 % (9.8–17.8).
EFFECT: reduced porosity, increased density and increased output of ceramic mixture.
