FIELD: mechanical engineering; travel motion drive of excavator. SUBSTANCE: gearbox has two hydraulic motors and two driving gears arranged symmetrically relative to driven gear, planetary mechanism, output shaft, friction brake and synchronizer with engagement mechanism. Synchronizer clutch members are installed on output shaft and intermediate shaft for direct interconnection. Friction brake engagement ball mechanism has post on inner surface of shift ring for contact with engagement mechanism lever. EFFECT: provision of balance, smooth gear changing under load, high efficiency, compactness, no need of hydraulic system. 3 dwg
