FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of manufacturing layered break-resistant composites based on silicate and/or organic glasses for use in transport means and in construction. Multi-compartment silicate glass packet is assembled and treated in vapors of organosilicon adhesive: methacryl(methyl)diethoxysilane or methacryloxy(methyl)triethoxysilane. Liquid light-hardening methacrylic monomer-based adhesive compositions are then prepared with different content of photoinitiator for each compartment of glass packet. Content of photoinitiator in those compositions increases as number of compartments in glass packet is increased. After that, hollows in each glass packet compartment are filled with specially prepared liquid light-hardening adhesive composition and light hardening is carried out for 20 to 40 min by agency of UV emission means: flat panel of luminescent lamps placed at distance 100 to 500 mm from surface of glass packet. EFFECT: increased bullet resistance and improved manufacture technology.
