FLOATLESS FILLING VALVE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary engineering equipment. SUBSTANCE: floatless filling valve can be used for automatic filling flush tanks with water in toilet utility and for filling other liquid vessels. Floatless valve has following components: inlet pipe union, body, seat, flexible membrane with hole, outlet pipe union, control membrane chamber which is made up of two spaces divided by membrane to which rigidly connected is lever with flexible valving member. Forces exerted by lever arms are regulated by spring with screwed handle. Hermetically connected to inlet pipe union is inlet pipe which is bent at right angle. This inlet pipe is secured in hole made in wall of tank above maximal water level in flush tank. Provided in wall of membrane control chamber before membrane is pipe union to which hermetically secured is pipe having its end brought out above maximal permissible water level in flush tank. Aforesaid embodiment of floatless filling valve ensures improved operational reliability, better operating characteristics, and reduced loss of water in operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
