FLOATLESS FILLING VALVE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary engineering fittings. SUBSTANCE: valve can be used for automatic filling of lavatory wash tanks or other vessels with water. Floatless filling valve has following components: inlet pipe union, body, seat, flexible membrane with hole, and outlet pipe union. Valve body is provided with control membrane chamber which is made up of two spaces divided by flexible membrane. Secured on this flexible membrane is rigid disk and lever with flexible valving member which rests on stop of body and spring with screwed on handle. Installed in upper part of control membrane chamber is flexible balloon. Pipe union of this balloon is inserted into pipe union of cover and is hermetically connected with air pipe having its free end located above minimal water level in wash tank. Aforesaid embodiment of floatless filling valve ensures higher operational reliability, better performance characteristics together with reduction of water loss in operation.
