HYDRAULIC POWER COMPLEX FOR STRIPPING OPERATIONS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: power complex can be used for overburden removing operations, for development of technogenic grounds in mining industry, for civil and industrial engineering. Hydraulic power complex is made up of hydraulic giants, gravity hydraulic transportation facility, mechanical cleaners installed in route of moving hydraulic slurry, sump, hydraulic slurry flow creator located between cleaner and sump, and dredge pump. One cleaner is made in the form of grate, other cleaner consists of step-like positioned rows of flexible rods attached to power-driven chain. Hydraulic slurry flow creator is made in the form of two plates installed at angle relative to each other on ground base and is provided with head-piece. In process of operation of hydraulic slurry flow creator, hydraulic slurry is cleaned from large lumps and organic inclusions, then created is flow of cleaned slurry with preset pressure head. Flow is directed to one of sump walls, thus ensuring stable functioning of dredge pump and consequently of entire hydraulic power complex. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 4 dwg
