FIELD: analytical instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: device has intake manifold and intake cone attached on one side of the former. On the other side, air intake booster is disposed. Device contains CO concentration indicator; first, second, and third signal lights; replacement unit filled with chemical sorbent mounted in intake manifold between intake cone and air intake booster. Replacement unit is divided by grids into a series of compartments. In the first, third, and seventh ones, calcium chloride is placed, in the second one catalyst, in the fourth sodium hydroxide, in the fifth calcium hydroxide, and in the sixth first temperature sensor. Its first electric terminal is connected to power source and the second one to the first terminal of the second temperature sensor located within intake cone before replacement unit. Joint point of outlets of the first and second temperature sensors is connected with inlet of CO concentration indicator and outlets of the first, second, and third threshold devices. Outlet of the first threshold device is connected to the first signal light inlet over in-series connected first and second keys. Outlet of the second threshold device is connected to controlled inlet of the first key and, through the third key, to inlet of the second signal light and to the first inlet of "OR" element. Outlet of the third threshold device is connected to controlled inlets of the second and third keys, to inlet of the third signal light, to the second inlet of "OR" element, and to sound emitter. Outlets of the first, second, and third signal lamps are combined with outlet of CO indicator, second outlet of the second temperature sensor, and are grounded.
