FIELD: agriculture, in particular, method and equipment for combined grass seed sowing and application of fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: method involves rolling soil prepared for sowing; providing subsurface application of fertilizers arranged in rows with predetermined space between them; removing topsoil layer in spacings and putting it over fertilizer rows; sowing grass seed and cover crop in fertilizer row spacing to predetermined depth for each kind of crop; compacting soil between rows. Apparatus has grass seed hopper, cover crop hopper, fertilizer hopper, disk shank for applying mineral fertilizers. Fertilizer row coverer has paired left-hand and right-hand moldboards. Shank for cover crop has wedge-shaped section and is provided with valve disposed in its lower part. Grass seed shank is formed as A-hoe with wedge-shaped opening disposed in its front part and adapted for receiving cover crop shank. Ends of A-hoe wings are bent upward. Plates are mounted at both sides of upright seed guide and attached to its upper central part. Apparatus is further provided with covering roller. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved growing conditions by guaranteed embedding of seeds in wet soil at predetermined seed depth. 6 cl, 10 dwg, 1 ex
