METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS TREATMENT OF CONCRETE MIX Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2133194 C1

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method and device are used for treating concrete mixes before placing them into form or shuttering at production of sectional or monolithic concrete structures. According to method, concrete mix is subjected to heating by electric current up to temperature of 70-100 C and also is subjected to vibration. Simultaneously with heating and vibration, concrete mix undergoes treatment by surplus pressure of up to 0.01-0.02 MPa. Device for realization of aforesaid method has charging bin, concrete mix heating chamber made in the form of two pipes coaxially installed inside housing and provided with electrodes located on electrically insulated coating. Also provided are vibrators and removable discharge spout. Internal working surfaces on which electrode sections are located are made smooth. Diameter of removable discharge spout at its upper level corresponds to diameter of external pipe in concrete mix heating chamber. Diameter of outlet opening of removable discharge spout corresponds to minimal diameter of replaceable internal pipe having its lower end provided with resilient member and stopper in the form of supporting pad. Upper end of replaceable internal pipe carries stopper-fairing. Vibrators are fastened on housing of external pipe in concrete mix heating chamber. External pipe is attached to bin and is vibrationally isolated from bin. External pipe conjugates with bin through resilient hermetic members. Application of aforesaid method and device improves efficiency of concrete mix treating process, enlarges range of productivity and power capacity, makes better operability and servicing conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
