FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: emergency power supply system has inverter connected between its output contacts and alternating current stabilizer placed between input and output. A.C. or DC converter is connected to charged battery and is used as charging rectifier for battery during normal operation and as inverter ( inverted converter ) during emergency operation. Battery voltage is converted to AC voltage across output of emergency supply. This can be executed without change of inverter and stabilizer. Stabilizer is made as adjustable current generator supplying alternating current cophasal to voltage of alternating current fed from voltage source of alternating current. Independent of direction of energy in it inverter maintains specific voltage of alternating current across output contacts of emergency power supply system. System includes comparator that determines and compares state of battery with previously determined standard and generates signal in response to it. Intensity of current supplied by stabilizer is so adjusted in response to signal generated by comparator that system is kept in energy equilibrium and provides for constancy of voltage across output. EFFECT: improved operational reliability of system. 7 cl, 10 dwg
