FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method and device to control power supply, in which a pulse source of power supply provides for correction of the capacity ratio and supply of output voltage into a load with the help of control of a single key, not requiring any information of feedback related to the load. The single key may be controlled without monitoring of either the output voltage on the load or the current consumed by the load, and/or without stabilisation or output voltage on the load, or current consumed by the load. The current value of the input AC voltage at the pulse source of power supply may vary with the help of a regular AC light controller (for instance, using a method to control either amplitude or working cycle) to control in its turn the output voltage. The pulse source of power supply may comprise a configuration of a flyback converter, a configuration of a stepdown converter or a configuration of a stepup converter, and the load may comprise a light source based on LED.
