FIELD: power distribution systems. SUBSTANCE: current is measured in each of arriving phases (ph1, ph2 and ph3) and in each of distribution networks (1-5) by means of current sensors 16, 18, 20, 42, 44, 46, 48, and 50. Output signals of sensors are followed up by processor unit 12. Multiple-pole switches 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 and standard circuit breakers 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40 are coupled with respective distribution networks. Each switch 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 is capable of connecting its respective distribution circuit (1-5) to any of arriving phases ph1, ph2 and ph3 and to disconnect distribution circuits (1-5) from all n-phases ph1, ph2 and ph3. Processor unit 12 periodically keeps track of current carried by each arriving phase and programs switches 22, 24, and 26 basing on loading conditions of distribution networks 1-5 so as to ensure uniform load distribution in distribution networks 1-5 among all three arriving phases ph1, ph2 and ph3. EFFECT: improved load distribution among phases. 9 cl, 11 dwg
