ELECTRIC TRACTION RAIL BOND Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2133678 C1

FIELD: railway transport; track circuits furnished with electric traction rail bonds. SUBSTANCE: proposed rail bond has multiple core conductor with tips secured on ends. Each tip is made in form of two coaxial cylinders of larger diameter D1 and smaller diameter D2 changing one into the other through conical surface. Cross hole for fastening current conductor is made in cylindrical part of larger diameter. Thread made in surface of smaller diameter cylindrical part serves for fastening tip in rail web. Each tip is made with upset section of larger diameter cylinder in form of two planes parallel to plane of symmetry of tip in which intersection axes of hole and tip are located. Distance between planes is within 0.65 and 0.92 D of current conductor. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of devices. 4 cl, 1 dwg
