FIELD: railway vehicle condition checking facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has optical scanning floor-mounted system. Light emitters and light detectors are arranged at right- hand and left-hand sides of rail gauge within the limits of train clearance gauge. Optical scanning floor-mounted system has one reference and two measuring scanning pairs. Each scanning pair consists of point light emitter and light detector located at opposite sides of rail gauge and directed to each other. Light emitters and light detectors of measuring scanning pairs are installed symmetrically relative to rail gauge on line perpendicular to track longitudinal axis. Inputs of counting unit are connected to outputs of reference and measuring shapers and output is connected to recorder. EFFECT: elimination of resolving power limitations at measuring running-on angle. 2 dwg
