FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas turbines. SUBSTANCE: fuel containing vanadium is delivered into combustion chamber. Water solution of magnesium compound is fed as additive separately from fuel into combustion chamber through nozzle. Not less than 0.75 and not more than 2 mass fractions of magnesium in additive are fed per one mass fraction of vanadium in fuel. Preferable amount of magnesium per mass fraction of vanadium is limited by 1.5 mass fraction per mass fraction of vanadium and is equal to one mass fraction of magnesium per mass fraction of vanadium. EFFECT: provision of efficient operation of gas turbine at combustion of vanadium containing fuels such as heavy oil fuels. 7 cl, 1 dwg
