ADAPTIVE DEVICE FOR SEPARATION OF SIGNALS OF BINARY PHASE- SHIFT KEYING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2134026 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, specifically, radio receivers employed on lines of multichannel digital communication and in multiple-access networks using protocols with power trapping, digital radio broadcasting and television. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for development of adaptive device for separation of two linearly dependent signals of binary phase-shift keying against background of additive white Gaussian noise formed of basis of one carrying oscillation, differing in power and independently shifted through 180 degrees. Invention makes it feasible to decrease losses of noise immunity emerging due to possible deviations of parameters of separation algorithm of two signals from optimal ones in case of circuit realization, to reduce number of elements of device decreasing its cost and to enhance functioning reliability of device. Adaptive device for separation of signals of binary phase-shift keying has first, second, third, fourth and fifth multipliers, first and second low pass filters, bandpass filter, first and second limiters, subtracter, first and second computing units, voltage inverter, analog adder, inverting amplifier. Mentioned new population of significant symptoms provides for decrease of losses of noise immunity caused by possible deviations of parameters of separation algorithm of two signals from optimal ones in separation with required quality of two linearly dependent signals against background of additive white Gaussian noise. EFFECT: decreased cost and enhanced functional reliability of device. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
