FIELD: performing endothermic reactions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has many metal tubes located in reservoir; these tubes divide interior of reservoir into flow passage for reaction medium and flow passage for combustible medium for performing the endothermic reaction. Flow passage for combustion medium is located in such way that fuel and combustion air are heated separately inside reservoir to temperature considerably exceeding their ignition temperature before combination in combustion zone where they are mixed, self-ignited and burnt.
