FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of synthesis of vinyl acetate by ethylene acetoxylation. Vinyl acetate is produced by interaction of ethylene, acetic acid and oxygen in reactor with catalyst fluidized bed. For this purpose ethylene and acetic acid are fed in reactor through one or more inlet holes and oxygen-containing gas is fed in reactor through at least one additional inlet hole that provides the combined combination of oxygen-containing gas, ethylene and acetic acid and their contact with the catalyst fluidized bed. Then the synthesized vinyl acetate is removed from the reactor with fluidized bed. Catalyst has palladium and shows the general formula Pd-M-A where M - metal, for example, cadmium, copper, manganese, cobalt and others; A - an alkaline metal or a mixture of alkaline metals. Preferable diameter of catalyst particles is at the following limits: less 0.2 mm - 60% and 0.004 mm - above 40%. Process is carried out under pressure 35.2-14.06 kg/cm2 at 100-250 C. EFFECT: increased effectiveness of the process due to the use of reactor with the catalyst fluidized bed. 16 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 19 ex
