FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactor shell (10) and a method of producing hydrogen and/or synthetic gas and/or carbon dioxide; the shell contains: at least one reaction flow passage (20) formed in said reactor shell (10), at least one structured ceramic catalyst (30) comprising a plurality of adjacent hollow ceramic subunits (31), at least one resistive electric heater (40) for heating said structured ceramic catalyst (30) to a given reaction temperature. Reactor shell (10) is characterized by electrically heated structured ceramic catalyst (30), said resistive electric heating device (40) is located inside at least some of said hollow ceramic subunits (31) so that flow channel (313) still remains. Method of producing hydrogen and/or synthetic gas and/or carbon dioxide is carried out in a reactor with said shell.
EFFECT: reduction of investment costs, power consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and size of reactors, replacement of equipment.
