FIELD: solid substance grinding equipment. SUBSTANCE: mill has cylindrical casing and liner with set of similar rubber plates. Charging and discharge closures of mill have end lining plates manufactured from resilient material and formed as sectors. When each sector is in operating position, it has asymmetrical wavy shape, so that wedge-shaped ridge is formed in thickened portion of plate, with number of ridges being equal to the number of plates. Plates are arranged one relative to another so as to define resilient members. Each plate is positioned on end closures with high portion of wedge-shaped ridge oriented in the direction of rotation of mill. Wide portion of plate sector may have round channel shape and narrow portion may be made flat. Ridges of asymmetrical wavy end plate may have projections and wedge-shaped slots directed at an angle of 60 deg to longitudinal axis of end plate and oriented with their wide portion toward ridge. Narrow portion of end plate may be reinforced with metal strip and wide portion may be provided with arced recess extending along end closure and mill casing junction line and having depth equal to thickness of similar rubber plates.
