FIELD: production of solar receivers. SUBSTANCE: method involves calculating and making marks defining main circle and concentric circles; cutting out main circle; notching concentric circles through half the thickness of sheet; cutting out shaped sector from main circle; bending remaining part of main circle till sides come into contact one with another so as to obtain paraboloid of rotation; welding sector sides and smoothing off seams. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 2 dwg
