FIELD: self-contained power sources for low latitudes with large number of sunny days at intensity of solar flux of 1 kW/sq.m. SUBSTANCE: solar energy receiver includes system of two coaxial parabolic mirrors having common focus, two swivel mechanisms for horizontal and vertical turn of mirrors with electric drives, flexible light conduit whose one end is freely movable in stationary light conduit and control system consisting of two servo systems for vertical and horizontal turn of mirror system in tracking motion of Sun in the sky, light flux intensity sensor, logic unit consisting of two relays and performing functions of starting, stopping, reversing and regenerating storage pertaining to duration of day and maximum declination of Sun. Energy receiver is fully automatic and may operate unattended, but for preventive maintenance and elimination of faults. Mechanical portion of receiver provides for reception of solar energy and automatic control system makes it possible to perform reception of solar energy in unattended mode and to deliver it to consumer irrespective of latitude where receiver is mounted and season, thus saving electric power.
