SOLAR LUMINAIRE (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2182287 C2

FIELD: tubular, cone-shaped and combination luminaires designed for illumination often-closed spaces in the day time. SUBSTANCE: the tubular solar luminaire (according to the first modification) has a solar conduit and an extension piece, the solar conduit and the extension piece are made with an internal mirror surface, and the extension piece is made tapered and provided with a glass pipe for better scattering of solar flux. According to the second modification, the solar luminaire has a detector of solar energy, main solar conduit 4 and extension piece 6, main solar conduit 4 has mirror 7 for sending the flux to extension piece 6 and tap 5 from main solar conduit 4 for extraction of part of the solar flux, and extension piece 6 is made in the form of a hollow cone with an external mirror surface for better scattering of solar flux in the room. The combination solar luminaire according to the third modification differs from the luminaire according to the second modification by the fact that an electric lamp is installed inside extension piece 6, the lamp is automatically cut in the electric circuit by a signal from the transducer of solar flux density at its reduction to the lower tolerance limit and gets disconnected from the electric circuit at the upper flux density limit. The first two modifications may be assembled irrespective of the electric network at illumination of the mounting grounds and passages between metro stations, as well as at illumination of tunnels and trunks with the use of solar energy, and the third modification of luminaires may be assembled in complex with electric luminaires in the lusters of the halls of metro stations. EFFECT: saved electric power and prolonged service life of electric luminaires, in particular for the Moscow metro, the saved power may make up to 65.7 mln kW per year. 3 cl, 2 dwg
