FIELD: pyrotechnics, applicable for transmission of detonation commands from initiating source to pyrotechnic consumers. SUBSTANCE: charge- translator consists of external and internal shells, explosive charge positioned between them, through passage located in the charge axis and filled with low- compressible medium. For medium ampoulization sealing caps are fitted onto the ends of the charge-translator. The shock wave arising in the through passage filled with low-compressible medium has a leading effect on the explosive charge thus causing pulsating detonation. The detonation velocity of such charges reaches 12,000 m/s and higher. EFFECT: enhanced initiating capacity due to increase of the charge active mass and detonation velocity. 1 dwg
