FIELD: electrical engineering; heating appliances. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to device for direct conversion of electric energy into heat energy, namely, to electrode liquid heaters. Electrode liquid heater has phase and passive electrodes installed coaxially to form chamber. Housing plays the part of zero electrode. Passive electrode is insulated from phase electrode and housing by insulator. Housing is provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes and compensating reservoir. EFFECT: decreased heat exchange surface, increased sensitivity to change in temperature of heated water. 1 dwg
