FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing, inlet and outlet ports. Device is connected through union and hose to hole located in lower part of engine cylinder block space from side of crankshaft, and through cylinder, to hole located in lower part of engine cylinder block space from side of flywheel. Electric heating element is made in form of cross with relatively perpendicular metal shelves. Positrons are tightly clamped between shelves. Said shelves. Said shelves are connected in turn through insulators to positive pole of supply source, and end faces of cross are filled with gasket. Electric heating element is installed in housing and connected through unions to engine cooling system. EFFECT: improved reliability of device and efficiency of its operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
