FIELD: agriculture and horticulture. SUBSTANCE: cultivator has frame with two handles, case with lower undercutting knife, side cutting knife and moldboard wing inclined backward and toward ridge. Wing is contoured in accordance with profile of one ridge. Cultivator is equipped with devices allowing full ridge to be formed by connecting two ridge formers with left-hand and right-hand bodies. Cultivator wheel is disposed behind case to roll over smooth surface leveled by cultivator case. When potato plant growing in hard soil is to be hilled, wheel serves support for inclined frame and case in the process of cutting off layer of required thickness.
