SUBSTANCE: reel-and-brush planter has reel with ribs extending along diagonal relative to ends and at predetermined angle such that first trough of left-hand end of reel comes onto second or third trough of right-hand end depending on size of seeds to be sown, if line is drawn in parallel with axis of rotation of reel. Skew ribs of reel have stepped end part and brush-type longitudinal frame. Rosette slots are disposed at angle equal to reel skew ribs entry angle and are made stepped. Height of Rosette slots is less than that of rib brush-type frame by value equal to brush flexure value. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced damage to grains, uniform grain distribution and provision for continuous metering of grain. 5 dwg
