FIELD: color reproduction of music. SUBSTANCE: in the course of conversion of music signal to color, music signal is subjected to spectral decomposition by Fourier transform, music frequencies are discriminated in spectrum obtained, selected frequencies are assigned storage address (sequence number of music frequency repetition rate) in music scale. Device implementing this method is provided, in addition, with music color standardizing unit, code comparison unit, and second switches, AND gate modules, digital-to-analog converters, color potential level recording circuits, code integrator, and counter reset unit.
