FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for contrasting X-rays with color consists in that a digital image of a black and white X-ray pattern is diaphragmed, normalized and directed simultaneously to three channels of a converter for dividing said image into color components (red, green and blue), at outputs of said channels, saturated red saturated green and saturated blue digital images on selected trajectory of given colors as a result of passage of input image through amplifiers with nonlinear amplitude characteristics, which are determined from a system of linear equations:

where is color coordinates on a given trajectory in a color cube of a monitor in a colorimetric system FED(E); coordinates of white color W; LR, LG, LB – brightness coefficients of monitor colorimetric system; – average energy values of photons of light fluxes of red, green and blue channels of monitor; – average values of squared energy of photons of light fluxes of red, green and blue channels of monitor; is average value of white color photons W and square of said mean value, respectively; then saturated red green and blue of image are multiplied by saturation coefficient k, where (0≤k≤1), and is summed with coefficient (1-k) input image U to obtain color separated images with coefficient saturation k:

further obtained color-separated digital images UR, UG, UB arrive at the inputs of a color monitor, on which an X-ray contrast-contrasted image is reproduced.

EFFECT: technical result of the declared invention consists in reduction of false-positive diagnostic solutions.
