FIELD: mechanical engineering; reduction gears, differentials, inverters, internal combustion engines, pumps, compressors. SUBSTANCE: method of conversion of motion in volumetric expansion (displacement) machine in which at least one piston and cylinder are coupled with slider and with slotted-link member installed on axle and made in form of minimum two nonparallel guides with sliders moving in guides and connected through joints with connecting member installed on axle comes to provision of rotation of at least one of above-indicated members around its axle. Simultaneous rotation of axle of one of member relative to introduced main axle and axle of other member relative to axle of first member and simultaneous rotation of both members around their axles and synchronization of angular velocities of planetary and rotary movements of machine pistons and cylinders are provided. Design peculiarity of machine is that it has main shaft and synchronizer coupled at one side with main shaft or housing, and at other side with slider or slotted-link member or with connecting member, or with two of them. At least one of indicated members or sliders is hinge mounted in synchronizer for rotation around main shaft and provision of additional planetary rotation of any one member relative to main shaft and planetary rotation of second member relative to axle of first member.
