FIELD: radiolocation of air objects from aircraft. SUBSTANCE: invention lies in measurement of coordinates of air objects by one airborne reconnaissance aid on basis of reception and analysis of signals of radio altimeters of these aircraft coming in straight direction " object-reconnaissance aid " and diffusely reflected from underlying surface of ground. As distinguished from other known methods it allows coordinates of radiating objects to be determined with higher precision by way of processing of direct and diffusely reflected signals of radio altimeters, by way of obtainment of increments of flight altitude of aircraft relative to terrain and by way of usage of correlation-extremum comparison algorithm.
